In the summer of 2013, our family joined a Rick Steves' Family Best of Europe Tour that took us from Rome to Paris! This site is designed with a few objectives:
First, to explain WHY you should take a Rick Steves' Tour. Once we made a decision to join, we had almost 9 months to PREPARE for our tour. In the preparation section of this page, you’ll find tips for choosing when to go, strategies for finding the best airfare, what luggage we used, how to pack, tips to be ready for walking and standing, and how to exchange or bring money. Finally, get a glimpse of our DAY BY DAY activities. Each day highlights an advantage of taking a tour and also lists our hotel, activities, special meals, and a few interesting details we learned. All gallery thumbnails expand to full size photos and you can advance through embedded slideshows. |
